Training And Placement Cell Overview :

The Training and Placement Cell is an integral part of any institute in today’s competitive world. The globalization of Pharmaceutical Industry in turn demands for highly competent professionals.

Training and Placement Cell is headed by Ms.Shivani Bhapkar, Asst. Professor in Department of Pharmacology. The team works relentlessly towards imparting training, providing advanced knowledge and skill sets to make the students employable.

The primary objective of the Training and Placement Cell is to provide technical training to give hands on experience of the actual work environment which helps the candidates to identify and inculcate the necessary soft skills. The Training and Placement Cell conducts training sessions throughout the year, organizes seminars and workshops on various current topics, provide exposure to latest personality development modules, industrial visits, orientation programmes, personal counseling by the professionals, industry-institute interactions, etc. which has resulted into dramatic placements in the reputed pharmaceutical units across the country. The Training and Placement Cell has set high goals for itself i.e. “If you can dream it, you can do it”.

Objectives

1. To prepare and train aspiring learners to face campus recruitment by providing them exhaustive training with relevance to communication skills and overall development for personal & professional grooming.


2. To arrange guest sessions of industrial and academic experts to update and upgrade learners with hands on experience in the wake of ever-changing dimensions of professionalism.


3. To arrange guest lectures and training sessions of alumni who are placed in reputed industries to inspire and motivate the aspiring learners.


4. To make concerted and consistent efforts to enhance employability through campus placements.

Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC) :

The aim of Entrepreneurship Development Cell is producing successful entrepreneurs imbibed with leadership qualities using innovative and ethical business practices to make global impact. The main objective of cell is to develop and strengthen entrepreneurial qualities in the budding professionals who are interested in starting their own ventures.

Objectives

1. To create Entrepreneurial culture in the Institution.


2. To prepare the students to face the real world business scenarios.


3. To catalyze and promote employment opportunities.


4. To impart entrepreneurial education/skills to the students through various trainings and exercise program.


5. To provide a platform for interaction with entrepreneurs.


6. Encourage students to develop their own startups


7. Create corpus fund to seed ventures.

Industry Institute Interaction Cell (IIIC) :

To strengthen the relationship between industry and our institute, the Industry-Institution Interaction Cell has been established in the year 2023, which provides an excellent platform for both the students as well as the faculty members to be aware of industry expectations from the graduates. Industry-institute interaction is the most ideal activity for mutual benefit and growth of industries as well as institutions. The objective of the IIP Cell is to reduce the gap between industry expectations (practice) and academic offerings (theory) by direct involvement of industry to attain a symbiosis.

1. To bridge the gap between Industry and Institute.


2. To give industrial exposure to faculty and students, thus enabling them to tune their knowledge to cope with the industrial culture.


3. To organize in-plant training for the students.


4. To arrange industrial visits for faculty members and students.


5. To sigh MoU’s (Memorandum of Understanding) between the institute and industries to facilitate joint research work and interdisciplinary research work.


6. To share the experience and expertise between institutions and industry for mutual benefit.


7. To identify and arrange guest lectures, interactive workshops, conferences, seminars, and technical discussions etc. with members of the industry.

Alumni Association is the primary communication link between the college and our alumni. It is our goal to encourage and foster lifelong alumni involvement and commitment, by bridging the gap and thereby fabricating an unassailable ligature.

Over the next several months and years it will be our aim to nurture aerobicized bond with alumni; to execute such programs that match the interests and needs of the alumni; to maintain and build upon the positive relationships we have with our more veteran alumni; to increase the involvement and communication with our younger alumni.

Achieving these goals will require tremendous and painstaking team efforts, and it will be important to enlist the assistance of College, Students, and of course.
